And don’t worry, we’ve got the kids covered too with plenty of toys and trikes to keep them entertained! Come join us and enjoy all the fun! 🌟✨

There is currently no hot water available at the Walnut Community Center. If you use the showers, please plan accordingly.

Plans are already in place to have hot water restored as soon as possible, and we appreciate your patience while this issue is being resolved.

🌷🌞 Spring has officially sprung in Walnut! 🌞🌷

That means it’s time to give the Walnut Community Center yard and playground a fresh new look! 🌿🛝

We’re getting ready to spruce things up—cleaning, planting, fixing, and making our outdoor spaces a place everyone can enjoy all season long. 💪🌼

We could use YOUR help!

Whether you can lend a hand for an hour or stay the whole time, every bit makes a difference. This is your community space, and together we can make it shine! ✨

🌟 Have you seen the latest addition to our playground?! 🌟

Thanks to a Community Impact Grant from Community Foundation for Western Iowa , a generous donation from Little Warrior Wrestling, funds raised by the Walnut Community Center Foundation, and help from Nelsen Welding and Construction, we were able to add SIX additional swings to our playground! 🎉

The new additions include toddler swings as well as TWO all-inclusive swings, helping ensure children of all abilities can enjoy our playground together. 💙

A HUGE thank you goes out to Jared, Rick, Regan, and Dakota for all the hard work, heavy lifting, and time spent getting everything installed and ready for the community to enjoy!

We’re so excited about the continued improvements happening at the play area — and we’re not done yet! 👀 Stay tuned to hear about even more additions coming soon!
