Not a fwrd post please read!!!!
Amazing things come from the hearts of our children!!
Our son this year for Christmas asked for only a couple things, he is 7. A 7-year-old's Christmas list is usually one for the record books. Normally it reads like this. ALL the toys in the toy Isle, the most expensive game system, a new cell phone, video games, the list can literally never end.
But this year,🥲🥹 my son Charles wants only one thing the most.
Now he did ask for a toy or two and a couple specific blankets. But the thing he wants the most is, TO HELP!
This fills my heart with so much pride and joy knowing he feels for and thinks about others.
So this year he would like to help out the homeless and families that don't have anything or a place to go.
On that note, we will be purchasing blankets, sleeping bags, socks, hats, gloves, shaving cream, shaving razors, etc. To take down to the shelters and missions in Omaha/CB.
What I would like to ask is the father of such a caring son. Is for help doing this. We can only do so much as we are only a couple people.
I would like to ask for donations. What we are looking for are coats, blankets, gloves, hats, sleeping bags, sweaters, small kid's toys, and even foods that are in preserved packages so they don't spoil.
Charles wants to make sure kids have toys to play with and that everyone who has nowhere to go is able to try and stay warm this winter.
We know we can't help everyone. We know this is a trying season for a lot of people financially as well. So giving can feel stressed or unable to. That's ok! But we will try to help as many as we can!!
All we ask is if you have some old stuff like this laying around you don't use. Let's get it to someone who can.
I will pick up anything anyone wants to donate. Reach out to me on FB or feel free to call or text my cell
Please no soiled, filthy, dirty blankets or wearable products. We will be washing all that we get so it is given to the shelters clean and ready to use. But we would like to not be overwhelmed with what most likely be disposed of.
