Dishes OF Grace 🙏 I am starting a new non profit charity.
First the story behind the reason! My everyday dishes was Eric's grandmother's china. Shortly after his passing, I gave back the china to his family upon their request. My bestie.. Sarah Rose Gross then immediately put a post on Facebook asking for dishes for me. The response within minutes was overwhelming! Usually I have to have everything match, but as I laid out the variety of dishes to choose a set...I realized the collection of different sets from the grace of strangers lending a helping hand without hesitation is only something that comes from a higher hand above. I have used these dishes everyday since and thinking of the strangers and their grace everyday. I received 7 different sets. 8 can sit at the table Eric made for us in which many memories have been made. His parents and I were lost and drifted apart after his passing but through the grace of God and love in our hearts we have built a new bridge back to each other. His parents allowed me to add a plate from his grandmother's china that completes my set of 8. Not to mention 8 has become significant in this past year and is the symbol for infinity. Also Amazing Grace was Eric and I song! I just realized as the name of the charity just flowed from my thought to the paper what the initials are backwards...I am overwhelmed how powerful this moment feels.
