The Wallkill Fire Department Auxiliary sends our thoughts and prayers to our brothers and sisters of the Coldenham Fire Department following the devastating fire at their firehouse overnight.

A firehouse is more than just a building. It is a second home—a place filled with history, memories, camaraderie, and countless hours dedicated to serving and protecting the community. We can only imagine how difficult it is to see that place damaged by the very thing you work so hard to protect others from.

We are incredibly thankful that no one was injured. Buildings, apparatus, gear, and equipment can be replaced—people cannot.

During this difficult time, please keep the members of the Coldenham Fire Department and their families in your thoughts and prayers as they assess the damage and begin the road to recovery.

🏆🚒 A GREAT DAY FOR WALLKILL! 🚒🏆

The Wallkill Fire Department Auxiliary was proud to participate in the 91st Annual UCVFA Parade in Napanoch, and we are excited to share that our Auxiliary brought home 1st Place! 🥇❤️

We would also like to congratulate the Wallkill Fire Department on taking 2nd Place – Bloused Men, 15 & Over! 🥈👏 Way to represent Wallkill!

A very special congratulations goes out to the Napanoch Fire Department as they celebrate an incredible 100 years of service! 🎉🚒 What an amazing milestone! Thank you for hosting such a wonderful parade and celebration, and congratulations on a century of dedication and service to your community.

We are so proud of everyone who marched, participated, and represented Wallkill! ❤️🤍💙

We are so proud of Kayla and all of the dedication, leadership, and hard work she brings not only to our auxiliary, but to the fire service community as a whole. This is a wonderful accomplishment, and we know she will do an amazing job in her new role.

The Auxiliary extends our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Mary’s family, our Brothers and Sisters of the Plattekill Fire Department, and to all whose lives were touched by her kindness, friendship, and dedication.

Mary was a truly special person whose warmth, compassion, and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her.

Rest in peace, Mary. You will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and never forgotten.

It is with heavy hearts that the Wallkill Fire Department Auxiliary mourns the loss of Active Firefighter Jason Pittman.

Jason’s dedication, courage, and willingness to serve his community will never be forgotten. He was more than a firefighter — he was a friend, a brother, and a valued member of the Wallkill fire family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jason’s family, friends, and all of the members of the Wallkill Fire Department during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Jason. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Your watch may be over, but your memory will live on forever. ❤️🖤🚒

We’re helping stock the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, and we need your help! 🧡

When people think of food pantries, they think canned goods — but hygiene products are some of the most needed and least donated everyday essentials.

Right now we’re collecting:
🧴 Shampoo & conditioner
🧼 Dish soap & hand soap
🪥 Kids toothbrushes & toothpaste
✨ Unisex deodorant
