Dear Friends of NHCOS,
We’re excited to share some wonderful news! This year, our organization is participating in the first-ever Southern Maryland Day of Giving on December 2, 2025 — a regional celebration of generosity and community spirit across Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s counties.

This special day is an opportunity for everyone who loves Southern Maryland to come together and support the nonprofits that make our community thrive.

As a proud local nonprofit, New Hope Community Outreach Services, is honored to take part. Your donation on this day will help us provide emergency needs (food, clothing, hygiene, household supplies, baby essentials), restorative living (rental/utility assistance) and workforce development training and resources to Charles County and surrounding communities.

260 grocery and holiday bags
2,260 baby diapers
235 adult diapers
51 bakery bags
25 produce bags
381 pieces of clothing

NHCOS is requesting donations for cereal, peanut butter, jelly, and canned meats.

We desire to continue to serve 6 days a week, but our resources are running low.

Hours of Operation is Monday-Friday (11am-3pm) and Saturday (10am to 12 noon).
