At Calvert County American Little League, we're reminded that baseball is about so much more than wins and losses. It's about family, friendship, resilience, and supporting one another through every challenge.

Today, we stand with Xavier Taylor, his family, and the entire Maple Shade Youth Baseball community. While miles may separate our fields, the baseball family is one team when it matters most.

🇺🇸 Today, as we gather with burgers, hot dogs, laughter, and family, may we also pause to remember the true meaning of this day.

Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer. It is a day of remembrance for the brave men and women who gave their lives so we could live in freedom. Their sacrifice is woven into every freedom we enjoy, every flag that waves proudly, and every moment spent with the people we love.

Today, we honor those heroes.
We remember them.
We thank them.
And we keep their families and loved ones in our hearts, knowing their sacrifice did not end on the battlefield. 🇺🇸❤️

A special tribute and heartfelt gratitude to the Stethem Family for the ultimate sacrifice made by Robert Dean Stethem. His courage, service, and devotion to this country will never be forgotten.

May we never take our freedom for granted, and may we always remember the cost at which it came.

Great opening day yesterday. Weather was beautiful. Thank you to the parents and coaches for the wonderful start to the season.

Special thanks to Katherine and Robbie Stethem for always supporting the league and Pastor Roberson for his blessings and the National Anthem.

We had a visit from Pinch from the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.
