We are so excited to be collaborating with Lakeside Retreats • 501(c)(3) Nonprofit • Raleigh, NC this fall—giving our children the opportunity to build a relationship with this truly special land, learn alongside their incredible team, and experience the kind of childhood that unfolds outdoors.

Through nature immersion, hands-on learning, wilderness skills, exploration, and plenty of time to simply play, our days are designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, connection, and a lifelong relationship with the natural world.

From muddy boots and creek explorations to campfires, wildlife, tree climbing, and hands-on adventures, we’re creating the kind of childhood every child deserves.

Join us for nature-based summer camps filled with creek exploration, wilderness skills, foraging, nature crafts, wildlife discovery, games, and plenty of outdoor play.

🌲 Homeschool Drop-Off Programs (Ages 4-9 and 6-11)
We offer dailty drop-off programs Monday–Friday where children learn through:
• Wilderness survival skills
• Herbalism & plant studies
• Foraging & mycology
• Shelter building & fire craft
• Environmental education
• Nature connection & stewardship
• Outdoor play and exploration

Perk for Parents: You can hang out on site at the Haven Farm playgrounds and coffee shop while kids are in camp! There’s also baby goat cuddles ❤️

Lately, I’ve been sitting with the heaviness so many of us are carrying.

The rising cost of groceries. The gas prices. Politics. Unexpected bills. Grief. Global Warfare. Parenthood. Healing Generational Cycles. Illness. Major life transitions. Relationships ending and new chapters beginning. The quiet weight of simply trying to hold it all together.

And as we sit with that grief.. not just our own, but the collective grief so many families are navigating we keep coming back to one simple truth:

We still have the power to care for one another.

We may not be able to solve every hardship, but we can create spaces where children get to laugh, explore, build confidence, make friends, get muddy, and remember the magic of being a child.

This summer, we have a handful of camp spaces remaining, and we are offering them at a significantly reduced rate to families who may be walking through a particularly challenging season.

If that’s you, please know there is no shame in receiving support.

Sometimes strength looks like giving.
Sometimes strength looks like receiving.

If your child would benefit from a week in nature, surrounded by caring mentors, adventure, play, and belonging, we would be honored to help make that possible.
