🥳🎊 CONGRATULATIONS 🎊🥳

Congratulations to the 17 graduates at Randolph Correctional in Asheboro who completed the 40-week JUMPSTART program to help transform their lives.

JUMPSTART is a faith-based reentry program dedicated to helping incarcerated individuals transform their lives from the inside out and successfully transition back into society. It boasts an impressive success rate of over 96% of graduates remaining out of prison.

Supporting parent/child relationships is important in rehabilitation and reentry efforts. That was evident at Fathers Forever’s Bring Him All the Way Home Summit, where First Lady, Anna Stein moderated a panel on fatherhood and parenting and what they look like in prison and during reentry.

Below: Fathers Forever Executive Director Dr. Glen Warren, Wake County Commissioner Tara Waters, First Lady Anna Stein, NCDAC’s Lateisha Thrash, Wake County Sheriff Willie Rowe, Probation and Parole/Judicial District Manager Alan Pitstick, and James Johnson from Wake County’s Local Reentry Council.

Partnering with our friends at Raleigh Moravian Church and Oak City Cares to serve breakfast to the community.

This morning, we counted 15 small children that came through our breakfast line.

Statistically, unhoused children are more vulnerable to malnutrition, which can cause stunted growth, anemia, and weakened immunity.

For children living without stable housing, food is one of the most immediate, tangible forms of care. Ensuring they are fed restores their basic dignity and lets them feel seen and protected by their community.

A beautiful day at Oak City Cares with our friends from Raleigh Moravian Church. Special thanks to Chick-fil-A.
