Wabeno Lions Club

The Wabeno Lions Club was proud to once again host the steak dinner for the 25th Annual Dual Sport Riders Rally!

With 267 riders, 30 Lions members, and approximately 350 meals served, it was another fantastic event filled with great food, friendship, and community spirit!

One of the best parts of this event is seeing the incredible generosity of the Dual Sport Riders. Through their raffles and auctions, $7,500 was donated to local nonprofit organizations, helping make a difference right here in our surrounding communities!

A huge THANK YOU to the Dual Sport Riders for their continued generosity and support of our local communities, and to all the Lions members, volunteers, sponsors, and landowners who helped make this event possible.

We always look forward to being part of this wonderful tradition and appreciate the opportunity to serve such a great group of people!

We hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful, warm fall weather and taking some time to relax and enjoy the day! ☀ 🍂

As we head into another week, we wanted to share a few of the ways the Wabeno Lions have recently been giving back to our local communities.

We are proud to have donated $3,400 to support several wonderful organizations and programs:

🎒 Laona High School Backpacks to Go – $400
🍽️ Wabeno Soup Kitchen – $1,000

The Wabeno Lions Club is proud to support the Wabeno Area Players with a recent $1,000 donation! We love seeing local organizations come together to support one another and help keep opportunities like community theater thriving right here in Wabeno. 💙💛

Now it’s your turn to show your support! The Wabeno Area Players will present “Nana’s Naughty Knickers,” a PG-13 comedy, on October 2–4 at the Nancy Volk Auditorium.

🎟️ Grab your family or friends, enjoy a night (or afternoon!) of laughter, and support our talented local cast and crew. Supporting local events is another great way we can all give back to the community we call home!

🇺🇸⛳ 14th Annual Veterans Golf Outing ⛳🇺🇸

Last Monday we had a wonderful day honoring those who have served! The 14th Annual Veterans Golf Outing was another huge success, with 110 veterans joining us for a day of golf, fellowship, great food, and appreciation.

The day began with a very special moment as 101-year-old Navy Veteran Bernie Miller opened the outing with the ceremonial first tee shot, right down the middle! 🇺🇸👏 Veterans then enjoyed 18 holes at Nicolet Country Club after the commemorative ceremony before gathering for a steak dinner served by the Wabeno Lions, where every veteran also went home with a prize.

A special thank you to Lion Chuck Enders for organizing this incredible event, Lion Greg Tallier for all of his assistance, and all of the Lions members and others who helped make the day possible.

Most importantly, thank you to each and every veteran for your service and sacrifice. It is an honor for the Wabeno Lions Club to be part of a day dedicated to celebrating you. ❤️🤍💙

📸 We had a great time! Take a look through some of the photos from the day!

✨Giving back to our community is at the heart of what the Wabeno Lions Club is all about.✨

We recently gathered for our first summer cookout of the year, where we proudly inducted our officers for the 2026–2027 term and recognized members with Years of Service Awards, honoring those who have dedicated 10 to 40 years of service to our club and community.

A special thank you goes to Lion Greg Tallier for his outstanding leadership and dedication during his term as president. Your commitment to the Wabeno Lions Club and our community is truly appreciated.

As we begin another year of service, we're excited to continue making a positive impact throughout our community while welcoming new opportunities to serve.
