Our mission is to provide awareness, education, and skin cancer screenings to fire departments.

We aim to save lives and prevent other families from experiencing the nightmare the Valenta family endured.

The girls are thriving. The light is coming back into our eyes.

We may have only provided a few hours of skin cancer screenings, but we still covered over a 1/3 of the Carlsbad Fire Department!

Andy’s widow & and co-founder of AVMF, Caylie Valenta, will have the honors of being guest speaker at this year’s California Firefighters Memorial in Sacramento.

This weekend, we were a part of the Wellness Symposium, providing free skin cancer screenings to all attendees.

We screened 55 firefighters, and referred 14 out for additional evaluation and/or biopsy.
