We wish to acknowledge the invaluable assistance provided by Dr. Lucia Vasquez in notifying local nonprofits about the grant awards from The California Endowment and in offering step-by-step guidance to applicants. Moreover, your willingness to assist with login issues this morning was exceptional. On behalf of the Tulare County League of Mexican American Women and other local nonprofits, we express our deepest gratitude for your support and dedication to the community.

Today we express a heartfelt tribute to all the fathers, and those who have stepped in as a father figure (including all the moms who have pulled double duty). With deep gratitude we thank them for their unwavering support and guidance. Their strength, wisdom, and kindness shaped who we are today and who our children will be tomorrow. We will forever cherish the lessons taught and the love shared.

Save The Date For Our June Luncheon

Thursday, June 25th at 11:30

Featuring Our Guest Speaker Iris Feaver, Director of Development, CASA

I’m honored to serve as the Director of Development for CASA of Tulare County, a role I began on June 3, 2024. I care deeply about supporting abused and neglected children in foster care by helping build a strong, compassionate network of community advocates who can be their voice. It is a privilege to be part of a mission that works every day to ensure each child feels seen, heard, and valued.

Before joining CASA, I spent 17 meaningful years with the Visalia Emergency Aid Council, where I built lasting community partnerships and led events that made a real difference for local families with children. Those years strengthened my commitment to service and reinforced my belief in the power of collaboration. I’ve also been fortunate to serve in leadership roles with Visalia Breakfast Rotary and the Visalia Sequoia Lions Club, experiences that deepened my love for this community.

At CASA, I am proud to work alongside an incredible team dedicated to ensuring every child in foster care has a consistent, caring adult by their side. This work is more than a profession; it is a calling, and one I am truly grateful for.
