On Saturday October 24,2026 the Zeta Amicae of Virginia Beach donated 25 bags of gently used clothes, shoes, and 150 assorted breakfast bars to our community partner - PIN Ministry.

PIN Ministry connects people experiencing homelessness to vital survival resources, community care, and long-term recovery support. Additional services include:

• Offers hot meals 6 days a week, shower and laundry access 5 days a week, and essential clothing or hygiene distributions.
• Healthcare: Operates a medical clinic with local professionals providing basic first aid, prescriptions, vaccinations, physical therapy, and specialized health screening days.
• Growth & Programs: Provides behavioral health counseling, substance abuse recovery partnerships, and the ChangeMakers job training program.

The Zeta Amicae of Virginia Beach proudly participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront! 💗

We walked in honor of the survivors, in memory of those we’ve lost, and in support of everyone currently fighting this disease. Together, we are committed to raising awareness, promoting early detection, and supporting healthier communities. 💙🤍

💕 Fact #1: Regular mammograms can detect breast cancer before symptoms appear, when treatment may be more effective.

💕 Fact #2: When breast cancer is detected while still localized to the breast, the five-year relative survival rate is over 99%.

✨ Early detection matters. Awareness saves lives. Sisterhood makes a difference!

The Zeta Amicae of Virginia Beach, is raising awareness about the importance of mental wellness through our Health Justice Initiative.

💚 Depression affects millions of Americans each year and can impact anyone, regardless of age or background.

💚 Depression is more than sadness. Symptoms may include persistent fatigue, changes in sleep, difficulty concentrating, and loss of interest in activities.

💚 Mental health screenings can help identify symptoms early and connect individuals with appropriate care and support.

💚 Depression is treatable, and seeking help is a sign of strength!

✨ Your mental health matters! Check on yourself, check on your loved ones, and remember that you don’t have to struggle in silence.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Zeta Amicae of Virginia Beach proudly stand together in support of survivors, advocates, and families affected by domestic violence.

Domestic violence does not discriminate. It affects individuals of every age, race, gender, and background. Behind every statistic is a real person, a family, and a story that deserves to be heard.

📊 More than 1 in 3 women in the United States have experienced sexual violence involving physical contact, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime.

📊 More than 1 in 6 men have experienced these same forms of intimate partner violence.

📊 Approximately 6.7 million women experienced at least one of these forms of intimate partner violence within a 12-month period, according to CDC survey estimates.
