Summer nights in the community are about to look a little different! 🌙 Parks After Dark, hosted by Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation, is returning to Green Run as a free summer program focused on creating a safe, family-friendly environment. The program offers recreational activities, sports, food, and access to local resources to support healthy living and positive community engagement. More information is listed in the flyer below and on the City of Virginia Beach website. We hope you will come out and join the fun!

These awesome team members will be helping make sure everyone has a safe, fun, and splash-filled summer. They’re ready with the whistles, sunscreen and safety reminders!

2026 POOL HOURS

School Day Hours:
While school is still in session, the pools will open at 3:00 PM on their scheduled operating days and close at their normal evening time. On weekends, the pools will operate at their regular hours.

Clubhouse Pool: 11:00am - 8:00pm
1248 Green Garden Circle
Open Tuesday-Sunday
Closed Mondays (unless Monday is a holiday then it will be open)

Buckner Pool: 12:00pm - 7:00pm
3526 Buckner Blvd
Open Thursday-Monday
Closed Tuesday-Wednesday

Windmill Pool 12:00pm - 7:00pm

Open Saturday-Wednesday
Closed Thursday-Friday

DOG PARK CLOSURE NOTICE

Please be advised that the Dog Park will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, May 12th while we complete improvements to the park. During this time we will be:
🐶 Expanding the small dog area
🚪 Installing an emergency exit

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make the park safer and more enjoyable for everyone!
