A huge thank you to Lesly’s CPR for coming out and giving a first aid and CPR class to our Young Marines and Recruits. All 22 that attended got certified. This is the second time Lesly comes out to present to our unit and makes it super fun and engaging. The Youmg Marines always love her class and leave with so much knowledge.

If you are looking to get CPR certified reach out to Lesly and she will make it happen. Thank you Lesly for the very engaged class.

One of our biggest missions is giving back to the community that supports us. Especially our veterans.

Over the past two years, we have focused on assisting disabled veterans who are no longer able to maintain their yards. We have proudly organized and completed community service cleanups for veterans and the widows of veterans in our community.

As we continue to grow our efforts, we are currently seeking sponsors to help provide essential yard tools that allow us to better serve those in need. Donations of equipment would make a direct and meaningful impact on our ability to continue this work.

Needed tools include:
Battery powered w**d eater
Battery powered leaf blower
Rakes
Shovels
Work gloves

We are also grateful for any additional tools, equipment, or financial contributions that can help support our mission. Every donation big or small makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the veterans we serve. You can reach out to the unit commander at 760-291-9194 or [email protected]

Pictures are from our recent event this last Sunday 12 Young Marines and 3 Adult Volunteers completed 5 hours of community service and assisted a disabled veteran.

This past Saturday our unit was invited to EAA Chapter 768 - Apple Valley, CA to take the Young Marines on flights around Victoville. Lots of the Young Marines got to see their homes and schools during their flight. They learned a lot about air planes and got a certificate upon completion. Some of them even got to pilot!

Thank you for coming out and speaking to our Young Marines. They really enjoyed your visit.

A thank you to all the parents that brought food for the unit to enjoy. The AVs did amazing organizing the raffle, the food and games.

This Veterans Day, our Young Marines proudly took part in honoring those who have served our nation. Our unit participated in Victorville’s Annual Veterans Day Parade, standing tall and showing respect.

YM/LCPL Olmos represented our unit with great honor at the Hesperia Parks and Recreation Veterans Day event, where he performed TAPS a powerful tribute that reminded everyone present of the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes.

Veterans Day is more than a ceremony or a parade. It is a time for our Young Marines to learn the history, meaning, and importance of service, to understand the sacrifices made by veterans and their families, and to develop a deep respect for our nation’s past. These experiences help instill leadership, citizenship, discipline, and gratitude values that are at the core of the Young Marines program.
We are incredibly proud of our Young Marines for honoring our veterans with dignity and respect.
Thank you to all who have served.
