Boy Scouts Troop 50 Victorville is the oldest continuously chartered scout troop in the High Desert and has a long-standing reputation for adventure, leadership, and community service. Widely known as "The Hiking Troop," Troop 50 offers boys unparalleled opportunities to develop outdoor skills, build character, and experience the great outdoors like n
ever before. In 2024, Troop 50 was awarded the CIEC High Desert District Troop/Crew Hiking Award, officially recognizing us as the most active hiking troop in our local scouting community. This award reinforces why we proudly hold the nickname "The Hiking Troop." Our scouts have explored countless trails, camped in breathtaking locations, and developed lifelong outdoor skills. From conquering the Pacific Crest Trail and Bell Mountain to tackling overnight backpacking trips and geocaching adventures, we give our scouts an experience like no other. We focus on leadership, teamwork, and resilience through hands-on learning and real-world adventure. In addition to monthly hikes and frequent campouts, our scouts:
