Our November program takes us into one of the most rapidly developing areas of personal aviation.
AIR ONE is a two-place, all-electric eVTOL aircraft being developed by AIR for the personal aviation market. With eight electric motors, vertical takeoff and landing capability, and conventional wing-borne cruise, AIR ONE is designed to put eVTOL technology in the hands of the individual pilot rather than serve as a commercial air taxi.
Dan has a unique connection to the project. An early position holder and investor, he recently secured a second position for an AIR ONE. At AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, the AIR factory team assembled its display aircraft in Dan's Oshkosh hangar with his assistance.
Dan was the first non-AIR employee to sit in the Oshkosh aircraft. He'll share the story of his involvement
with AIR ONE, what took place behind the scenes at Oshkosh, and how the project is progressing.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Dan's aviation career includes the U.S. Air Force, Western Airlines, Delta Air Lines. He has accumulated more
than 23,000 flight hours and holds type ratings in the B-727, B-777, MD-88 and Eclipse 500, along with flight
instructor and A&P mechanic certificates.
He has flown more than 67 types of aircraft, owned 14 airplanes and personally built four — a Long-EZ, Hyperlite,
Questair Venture and Searey. That breadth of experience, combined with his personal involvement in AIR ONE,
should make for a particularly interesting pilot's perspective on the future of personal aviation.
