🏐⚾ UNIFORM DAY ANNOUNCEMENT ⚾🏐

Sunday, August 2 from 10:30 AM–1:30 PM in the gym is the designated day for all volleyball uniform pickups and baseball uniform returns.

Volleyball families should plan to pick up their uniforms during this time so players are ready for the upcoming season. Baseball/softball families should return all uniforms that needs to be collected. Reminder- you will be charged a replacement fee for any missing or damaged uniforms!

Please make every effort to attend during the scheduled window, as this is the official distribution and collection day for both sports.

One of our very special SHVP Volleyball coaches, Coach Nancy Anglo, recently retired from Saint Stephen Protomartyr after an incredible 35 years of service.

Coach Nancy and her family have been a huge part of the SHVP Volleyball community for many years, and we are so grateful for everything she has done for our athletes and program.

Last Tuesday evening, the girls from her team surprised her with flowers and a card to celebrate her retirement and thank her for her dedication, support, and impact on so many young athletes.

Congratulations, Coach Nancy! ❤️

📣 SHAA Volunteer Update for 2026–2027

Sacred Heart families — we need your help to keep our athletic programs strong!

Each year, SHAA relies on parent volunteers to run concessions, monitor gyms, manage fields, and support our athletes. Unfortunately, we continue to face major gaps in volunteer coverage across multiple sports.

To encourage participation, the SHAA board has voted to increase the volunteer buyout to $250 per sport beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. This amount is in line with other parishes and reflects what’s needed to keep our programs running smoothly.

👉 But let us be clear: we don’t want your money — we want your time.

Your volunteer hours directly support our kids, our teams, and our parish community.
We are also exploring a new option that would allow families to complete their volunteer commitment across a sport in the same season, giving everyone more flexibility. More to come on this as we work through planning.

Thank you for helping us create the best possible experience for our athletes. Sacred Heart sports only work because of YOU.
