Most puppies spend their first month’s learning, playing, and growing with their mom and littermates. They find wonderful homes, and they live wonderful lives.
Finley’s story didn’t go that way.
Finley was a puppy interrupted.
Finley’s life had already been interrupted in ways no puppy should experience. Born in the shelter, he survived parvo, survived illness, and at just 13 pounds old found himself once again in a shelter after suffering fractured leg and with only hours left before he was scheduled to be euthanized. But Finley didn’t know any of that. He still greeted people with a smile and believed everyone was his friend.
After surgery, healing, rehabilitation, and 60 days of strict crate rest, we didn’t know what his future would look like. The day he was finally allowed out, he burst forward like a freight train and he hasn’t stopped since.
Today, Finley is full of life. He has endless energy (Read his DNA and you will understand why). He is incredibly smart, full of life, loves people, and absolutely adores other dogs. He’s looking for an active forever home with another playful dog, people who understand that puppies need guidance, and a family ready to embrace his joyful, spirited personality.
