We are honored to be recognized as a Distinguished Non Profit for 2026 by Senator Brian W. Jones. This recognition reflects the heart of what this event stands for, preserving western heritage, supporting local youth, honoring military service members, and strengthening community unity right here in Valley Center.

This is a reflection of the volunteers, sponsors, attendees, vendors, and competitors who continue to make this possible. We are proud to represent this community and grateful to Senator Jones for this recognition.

We are incredibly proud to share this proclamation from the County of San Diego and Supervisor Jim Desmond, officially recognizing the Valley Center Stampede Rodeo and Memorial Festival and declaring May 23rd as our day throughout San Diego County.

This honor belongs to everyone who makes this event possible. To our volunteers, attendees, sponsors, vendors, and competitors, thank you for showing up year after year and building something that truly represents the heart of our community.

This is just the beginning, and we are excited to continue growing this event year over year while preserving the traditions that make Valley Center so special.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This year at the Valley Center Stampede Rodeo & Memorial Festival, we were proud to honor Petty Officer Second Class Noah Tobin during our riderless horse ceremony in a powerful tribute led by his brother, Nicholas, alongside the Tobin family in the arena.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for all fallen service members, and we are grateful to carry on that tradition of honor, sacrifice, and community. 📸

Saturday is officially SOLD OUT! If you weren’t able to get a ticket you can still attend our free Memorial Festival that has western shopping, free line dance lessons, a kids corral, food vendors, military displays, and a free concert after the rodeo from Rowdy and !
