The Valatie Community Theatre is proud to present a unique evening mix of staged readings and performances of locally written one-act plays on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Featuring eight short plays written by a diverse group of regional playwrights—ranging from students to seasoned veterans—this special, one-night-only festival offers a showcase of homegrown talent and storytelling.
The festival is structured to offer two distinct shows per hour, allowing audiences to drop in for a single block or stay for the entire evening of entertainment. Tickets are $5 per hour(covering two shows) or $20 for the entire night and are available at the door only. Patrons are advised that the final show features mature content; no one under the age of 16 will be admitted to the final show.
Come out for an hour or stay for the whole night to support local theater, celebrate regional writers, and experience a vibrant mix of comedy, drama, and fantasy.

Adult Audition Announcement!!!

We will be auditioning for our next adult production: Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe at the Valatie Community Theatre!
Audition Dates: August 7th 6:00pm and August 8th 10:00am. Please bring 32 bar cut of a song that best shows your range. Video submissions are welcome if you cannot make the audition dates.
Shows: October 23-25, 2026
