Clearwater TU’s Annual Angler’s Flea Market returns on March 21 to the Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post in Albany.

⁉️Do you have any used or new fishing gear (fly or spin) that you no longer use? Got a collection of angling books or art that needs a new home?

Tables for vendors are $20 and available for registration now! Send an email to Marc and let him know you would like to sell at the show and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Each year we offer a large venue and a fun one-day sale that helps raise money for the efforts of our TU chapter and to meet new local trout enthusiasts just like you! Come grab a great deal on some well loved gear or make space in your closet for your wish list.

Heiden Warehouse Proposal
Neversink River 
📍Thompson, NY

A massive development has been proposed along the Neversink River in Thompson, NY that poses potential threats to the integrity of this world-renowned watershed in the Catskills.  Up until November 30th, the Town of Thompson is accepting comments with specific goals of collecting insight from the public on considerations and factors that we feel the Heiden Warehouse developers must include in the environmental evaluation of their proposal.

Catskill Mountainkeeper, Trout Unlimited, Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, and Theodore Gordon Fly Fishers have submitted a formal letter of comment that outlines just a few of the critical considerations that we feel must be included in the study, but we need your help too! Visit the link in our bio to review and make a 1-click declaration to the Town of Thompson that helps reinforce these considerations.

Date Change: The weather forecast is predicting 50 degrees and rain tomorrow..... We are moving the date to next Tuesday, May 27, at the same location. Hopefully we'll get some better weather next week!

Our May meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 6:00 pm, at the Germantown, Roe Jan Kill Park pavilion. It is located on Dales Bridge Road, across the street from the Germantown Sportsman Club. Bring a fly rod!!

RIP Bobby

Long time CCSF member and local sportsman, Bob Fisher passed away this week. Many of us saw Bobby weekly at one of the trap shoot ranges or at the CCSF veteran pheasant hunt (photo below). He was a great shooter, fun guy and will be truly missed. RIP Bob! 💕😢

Upcoming events and year end schedule:

We are planning a holiday social "get together" on Dec 17, at 6:00 pm. Location is the Hudson Brewing Company, 99 S 3Rd St, Hudson, NY. Family and guests are welcome. This is completely informal, so come and go as you please!!
