Our annual Women & Teen Girls Event, proudly sponsored by CSL, was such a meaningful day for our community. This year we gathered at the beautiful Landscape Arboretum, where we shared lunch, created diamond art together, and enjoyed a relaxing tram tour through the gardens.

The true highlight of the day was our speakers.

Thank you, Dr. Cogan (M Health Fairview), for walking our group through successful surgical strategies for women and teen girls with bleeding disorders. His reminder was essential: any surgery — even dental work — should be discussed with your physician at your Hemophilia Treatment Center.

We also extend heartfelt thanks to Kristina from CSL, who shared her family’s powerful and deeply moving journey with bleeding disorders. Her story grounded the day in connection, resilience, and purpose.

Events like this remind us why community matters — learning together, supporting one another, and creating space for women and girls to feel informed, empowered, and seen.

Looking forward to continuing this tradition and expanding opportunities for our female community members across Minnesota.

The Upper Midwest Bleeding Disorders Alliance continues to expand its programming across Minnesota, strengthening our ability to reach and support more individuals and families throughout the region. As part of this ongoing growth, we’re broadening our presence in Northern Minnesota with new educational and community‑building opportunities.

Our upcoming Superior Connections program in Duluth reflects this commitment. Hosted at the Great Lakes Aquarium on September 26, this experience brings together expert speakers from M Health Fairview and educational sessions designed to meet the needs of the bleeding disorders community in Northern Minnesota. A bonus evening dinner at Clyde Iron Works, offered in partnership with Sanofi, further supports connection and shared learning.
