This week, Merrick celebrated the retirement of Accounting Specialist Lynn Lomen after 11 years of dedicated service. On her final day, Lynn delivered payroll to the work floor one last time and was greeted by a crowd of clients eager to wish her a happy retirement with a handmade sign.

Lynn's kindness, commitment, and caring spirit have touched so many lives over the years. While she will be greatly missed, we are excited for her as she begins this next chapter. Please join us in wishing Lynn a happy and well-deserved retirement!

Help Merrick win a $10,000 grant!

If you're a woman who is passionate about giving back to your community, we invite you to join us on October 5 at the Power of 100 White Bear Lake Women Inaugural Event and cast your vote for Merrick.

Merrick is one of three local nonprofits nominated for a $10,000 grant. By bringing together 100 women who each contribute $100, the event will create a collective gift that will be awarded to the nonprofit selected by attendee vote. While there is no cost to attend, participants are asked to make a $100 charitable contribution as part of the giving circle.

If Merrick is chosen, the grant will expand opportunities for the adults with disabilities we serve. Your vote could be the one that makes the difference.

Nothing says autumn quite like fresh-picked apples! This week, clients visited Aamodt's Apple Farm in Stillwater to sample three popular varieties: Honeycrisp, Sweet Tango, and Sweet Kiss.
