🎃 Don't let those halloween costumes sit in the closet! Give them a second life and help send our 8th graders to Washington, D.C.

We're collecting clean, gently used Halloween costumes to sell at the Soaring Eagle Bazaar on September 26. It's the perfect time to pass along those costumes your kids have outgrown while helping raise funds for an amazing student experience.

Happy First Day of School, SMS families! 🎉📚

Whether your middle schooler is walking through these doors for the very first time as a nervous 6th grader or ruling the hallways as an 8th-grade veteran, we hope everyone has an amazing morning!

A big shoutout to our incredible teachers and staff for getting the building ready, and a warm welcome back to all of our parents and guardians. We know middle school is a wild, fast-paced ride of new lockers, changing classes, and growing up fast—and the PTO is here for all of it!

Grade 6 Ice Cream Social Today — Meet at the front entrance at 1 pm.

All rising 6th graders are invited to SMS for our annual Ice Cream Social. Meet other students, reconnect with old friends, take a tour of SMS, and have some ice cream. No registration needed.

🦅 Help Our 8th Graders Get to Washington, D.C.!

Our 8th graders are heading to DC this year for an incredible educational experience—but the cost of the trip has increased significantly. A group of parent volunteers is working to make sure every interested student has the opportunity to attend.

Join us at the Soaring Eagle Bazaar on September 26, from 10 am–2 pm at Sharon Middle School. There are 6 ways you can help:

🙋 Volunteer — Help set up, clean up, or staff a table.
🧁 Donate Baked Goods — Your treats will help raise funds for the trip.
🛍️ Sell — Every 8th-grade family gets a FREE selling space, and money you raise can help offset your own trip cost. Community members can also purchase a selling space.
🎃 Donate a Halloween Costume — Clean, gently used costumes will be sold to benefit the trip.
🛒 Shop — Come find some great treasures and support our 8th graders!
