Please join us in welcoming Dan Anderson to CDChoices as our new Financial Analyst!

Dan brings extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, regulatory reporting, and banking, along with experience in the nonprofit sector. He holds a master’s degree in finance from Northeastern University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). His expertise will further strengthen our budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting capabilities while supporting our broader financial operations.

As CDChoices expands its programs and explores new opportunities, Dan’s experience will help our team assess opportunities, plan for sustainable growth, and make informed resource decisions. His work will support the financial foundation that enables us to help people live independently in their communities.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his five-year-old son, photography, and playing guitar. He also speaks Dutch and spent seven years living and working in the Netherlands.

Fourteen years ago, we lost Constance Laymon, founder of Consumer Directed Choices (CDChoices) and a passionate advocate for self-directed care.

Constance believed that people should have the freedom to make their own choices about their care, their lives, and the people they trust to support them. That belief became the foundation of CDChoices and continues to shape our work today.

We honor her by advancing the principles she believed in: choice, independence, and the right to direct your own care. Her vision helped move self-directed care forward, and we are proud to continue the work she began and honor the lasting impact she made on the movement.
