This Christmas Day, we've partnered with storyteller Jude Deluca to present an x/y holiday special!, featuring her story "X-TREME GENES: I’M DREADING OF A N**I CHRISTMAS SPECIAL #1 (DECEMBER 1996)", an antifascist yuletide tale from the world of DNA Comics! In addition to the story, the issue contains our regular features, including an extra stuffed Culinary Corner and a new strip of Clive's Boneyard.

... and that's a wrap on our '24-'25 season, "Riches & Wonders"! A huge round of applause for everyone who made a whole 'nother set of shows possible through participating in and patronizing our events. From the circus to the White House, from the body itself to primordial chaos, from Egypt to Rome, we're thrilled to call this second go-round a second success.

Tomorrow we'll be meeting at the St. Catharines Public Library for The 3rd Annual From Above/From Below Ball to kick it all off over again!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to participate in Theogony: A Recitation with Music at Satellite Records and thank you to Satellite Records themselves for joining us for a very special Open Mic Night. The work Satellite does in our community as a space for artists can not be overstated; it's an ever-burning bonfire, a place for the freaks and geeks and f@gs and fools to come together week after week and make music and poetry and noise.

Tonight, we joined that modern practice together with an ancient one, combining the d.i.y., anything goes variety show that happens there every Thursday with an oral tradition dating back to 700 BCE. To those who stepped up to the plate, unprepared, to play the role of the Fates, and to those who bookended the reading with their music, we are so grateful for you making this another successful adventure for our little travelling troupe.

What a time to be alive.

And, hot on the heals of announcing our '25-'26 performance season, without further ado, our publishing slate for this year!

In October, we'll be releasing the third in our annual series of themed horror anthologies, Fearful Symmetries: An Anthology of Psychedelic Horror. Melting walls, looping time, breathing flowers, and bad, bad trips... Take a dose of fear toxin and step into a world of waking nightmare, swaddled in a sickly sweet dream. As with all of our collections, this will be filled based on open submissions; keep an eye out for more information on that proccess soon.

Then, in December, we're partnering with new author Sandra Jatkowski to bring you her memoir, Angel: A Diary in Porcelain. A lover of trinkets, a mother of three, and a master of her own destiny, Angel is the survival story of a woman lost in the sea of herself and then found again. Sandra's story is one of resilience and hope, of faith in love and family, and of what it means to put yourself together when you're cracked.

As we work towards these releases, we're also going to keep catching up on back orders, and then once we're all squared away, expect announcements about the next issues of x/y and The Vineyard as well.

We're incredibly humbled to be heading into our third year. We wouldn't be here without the support and patronage of everyone who's contributed to and bought our books and zines online and at events. Thank, from the bottom of our hearts, for taking this journey with us, and we'll see you between the pages!

Blessed Pride, one and all!!!

To celebrate, we're announcing our '25-'26 season of events!

As is our custom, we'll be kicking off the season with the 3rd Annual From Above/From Below Ball in October. Next, we'll be hosting author Sandra Jatkowski as she releases her new memoir at A Night to Celebrate Angel: A Diary in Porcelain at the end of the calendar. In the spring, we'll begin the new year with Balancing the Humors: A Health & Wellness Stand-Up Show before swinging nack around with a recitation with music of T. S. Eliot's The Wasteland in April. In May we'll mount the late medieval morality play The Somonyng of Everyman, and finally we'll cap things with our annual Shakespeare summer show and our first full Shakespeare-in-the-park production, A Midsummer Night's Dream!

As we prepare to end our second season this summer and move on to the next, we can't thank you enough for your patronage as we've embarked on this rocky road. You know what they say: once is a happenstance, twice is coincidence, but the third time's the charm, and indeed, we're delighted and excited to get to charm you for a third time.
