Our volunteers have been preparing for the Saturday, September 19th event at Union Mills Learning Center. This will be hosted to bring awareness to the garden project and grounds that are located right in the community. Vendors will be available with breads, herbal medicine, soaps, honey, fresh meats, home grown canned items, produce and more. Demonstrations, interactive walking tours, and live music on the outdoor stage will be featured. Contact us on this page or Flora Fauna Garden page for more information or to register as a vendor. Photos are of the grounds and garden taken today.

It's a busy upcoming weekend at Union Mills Learning Center. We are hosting the annual ASI, Alexander Schools Inc, alumni weekend. Registration begins at 10 am. Sandwiches and Homemade ice cream will be available. Business meeting will be at 2 pm. Alumni will discuss topics concerning their group. UMLC will have a short presentation of their activities during past year. 6 pm Hot Dog Meal. 7 pm Music by The Rented Mules. No Admission. Tip jar for the band. Rev. John Cope will lead worship service at 11 am in the auditorium. Lunch will begin at noon in the 1st floor dining room. $10 per meal. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the Saturday music.
