Today, we sent 30 owned and feral cats to the ASPCA to be fixed with 80% of the roster being free of charge with ear tip. We normally have a once-a-month transport, but the ASPCA was kind enough to give us an "extra" date in anticipation of kitten season thanks to Amanda Sexton, Manager, Partner Relations. BIG thanks to Kelly, Callie, and Bethany for your wonderful and sweet care of these felines AND owners! They even played soft cat music throughout the air-conditioned cabins, WOW!

EXCITING NEWS! The ASPCA has recently informed us they are slowly expanding back to pre-Covid surgical capability and are now offering us anywhere from 34-40 appointments per transport. This is going to make a BIG difference in the number of owners we can service with shorter wait times for appointments. Click on a transport date link for more information and how to register to take advantage of Low Cost & Free Services. Thank you, ASPCA, and we look forward to continuing to serve Rutherford County!

UPDATE 1/30/26: Tucker didn't need a transfusion and was able to come home this week on medications and rest. He has to return for follow up blood work, but he's feeling better. Please donate to help us pay for his medical expenses. This family is eternally grateful!

Friends, we urgently need to raise $2600 to help pay Tucker's Vet bill. Any and every amount is greatly appreciated. Click on the link below to read his story and to donate. Please share, thank you!

Please, we beg you, bring your pets inside or get heat lamps for them and bundle them in your old sweatshirts.

Here's another tip, put tarps on your lawn that can catch the ice and snow. Lift sections of it to give them a dry place to potty then once the precipitation stops, remove the tarps and they have a dry, ice/snow free area to do their business.

Raise doghouses off the ground and put a thick layer of straw under it to absorb the cold keeping your pet warmer. Wrap any shelters with tarps and cover the entrance enough that they can go in and out. Replace damp or wet blankets daily as this holds in the cold preventing your pet from being able to properly warm themselves.

Thank you for taking care of your furbabies!
