Taffy & Tin stands for Trash and food for Yahweh and those in need
It is our goal to provide for those in need to ensure that no one in Rutherford County, NC will be without. Our initial emphasis will be on gathering things that most people just throw away in the trash. There are many tons of such perfectly fine and usable stuff that end up in the garbage. We will be posting the things we gather
that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Some of these items will go directly to someone in need, for free of course. All proceeds go to Taffy & Tin so that more help may be given out to more people in need. YES, we plan on becoming a 501c3 Charity. This will require a minimum of $1200 and probably more for Local/State/Federal Fees for both Incorporating the Charity & registering that with the Government(s) and filing for and gaining 501cc3 Charity Status as well as also registering it with the Government(s). We also plan to provide goods for those that get burned out of their homes. Like pots, pans, glasses, plates, silverware, bedding, etc... The only requirement for this assistance is that a Chief or Officer from a Fire Department in the county or a Preacher/Reverand or Officer at a church in the county recommends them.
