Not a bad welcoming committee for Tuesday night. 😂❤️

I headed out to do a quick night check of the waters and was greeted by Burrito and Hamilton, who apparently decided their presence was necessary.

Nothing like having a donkey and a pig es**rt you through evening chores. 😂

Look who finally decided it was his turn for the spotlight. ❤️🫏

Eeyore is probably our quietest and shyest donkey. He’s usually perfectly content hanging out in the background, especially when Spartan is around to take center stage. 😂

But today, Eeyore decided it was his turn.

And don’t let that sweet, quiet demeanor fool you. Eeyore can roughhouse with the best of them. He can often be found wrestling and playing with Spartan and, every now and then, reminding young Spartan exactly who is in charge. 😂

We love our sweet, shy boy and are always happy when he decides to step out of the background and let us admire that handsome face. ❤️

It’s $5 Friday and someone would like to remind you that there are a LOT of mouths to feed around here. 😂❤️

Some of those mouths are just a little…scalier than others. 🦎

Nearly 60 animals call Happy Tales home, and keeping everyone fed, comfortable, safe, and cared for adds up quickly.

That’s why we love $5 Friday. Five dollars on its own may not seem like much, but when a bunch of people each toss $5 into the pot, those little gifts can make a really big difference for the animals.

We got an incredible reminder of that a couple of weeks ago. ❤️
