Please consider lending a helping hand to our beloved Cummings family in this difficult season of life! ♥️

One of our beloved members, Sonoma County Sheriff’s Detective Steve Cummings, has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer. Steve has been fighting through treatments while continuing to work, be there for his family, his coworkers, and the community he serves. Now, we have an opportunity to serve him.

Steve has begun stem cell treatment at the Stanford Cancer Institute. The treatment has been extremely difficult and has taken a major physical, emotional, and financial toll on Steve, his wife, and their two young children. Between extended stays away from home, housing during treatment, medical expenses, and the day-to-day impact this has had on their family, the burden has been overwhelming.

We have started a go fund me to help his family overcome the financial burdens that come with a fight of this magnitude. The DSA has already contributed to his family and were hoping our amazing Sonoma County community will join us in supporting our friend and neighbor.

We ask that you all consider donating to Steve and share this post so we can reach as many people and possible. Help us help them when then need it most.

Two Rock Officers, tomorrow is our LAST officer planning meeting of the year! Please come prepared with your reports, minutes, and article ideas. Looking forward to making our last meeting and end of year party a great one!

Two Rock 4-H poultry group is show ring ready! Our teen leader Stella walked members through all showmanship steps from how to hold your bird, “bumping the beak,” inspecting the bird’s undercolor, finding the body width, wing inspection, flipping the bird (means something a little different to us! 😝) finding the length of the keel bone, width and depth between p***c bones and keel bone, inspecting the vent, checking legs and toes, walking your bird and coop g and uncooping. We even got to practice some showmanship questions. Looking forward to this group impressing the judges at summer fairs! Great job 4-H’ers!

Our May meeting was a blast! We voted in our 2026-2027 officer team, wished Kevin a happy birthday, took care of a little business, and had a whole lot of water balloon fun! See you at our June end of year party, 4-H’ers!

Thank you for your generous grants to our Poultry and Lego project groups! The grant gifted to our Poultry program allowed us to purchase the American Poultry Adsociation and American Bantam Association standard of perfection books, so our members can research the different classes, breeds, and varieties of their poultry. The grant gifted to our Lego project allowed us to purchase $100 worth of bulk Lego bricks for large group builds, Lego building competitions, and to have materials for members who may not have their own Lego kits, making our project all the more accessible to all! YAL Foundation board and members, thank you so much for your support! Thank you Two Tock and Liberty 4-H members for taking time out of your day to say thanks! 🍀♥️

Two Rock 4-H was thrilled to be a sponsor for the first annual Sonoma Marin Agricultural Association Spring Classic clinic and livestock show this weekend at Sonoma County Fairgrounds! Congratulations to our members who participated— we are so proud of you! 👏 We look forward to this event returning next year and supporting local youth ag events!
