Every number tells someone's story of hope...

Because of the generosity, compassion, and faithful support of our community, lives were changed in powerful ways through Orange County Rescue Mission (OCRM) programs in 2025.
Here are just a few highlights from the last year:
✨ 23,663 people were served through outreach and programs
✨ 931 people enrolled in OCRM programs
✨ 62 graduates completed our program
✨ 22 families reunited
✨ 59 faith decisions made

In addition, 100 percent of our 2025 graduates have completed their high school education AND secured full-time employment!

Thank you for making this impact possible through your kindness and belief in second chances.

Today, we proudly recognize the 251st birthday of the United States Navy and honor the generations of men and women who have served our country with courage, dedication, and skill.

At Orange County Rescue Mission, we are honored to serve veterans from across our Armed Forces, including many who served in the U.S. Navy. We are deeply grateful for the years they dedicated to serving our nation.

To all Navy veterans and those currently serving, thank you for your service — and happy birthday to the U.S. Navy!

Whenever she faced tough days while working hard in our program, Stephanie knew where to turn.

“Get into the Word ... I just went to one scripture all the time, which is Proverbs 3:5: 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart,'” she shared.

That faith helped Stephanie keep moving forward, one step at a time.

Along the way, she was surrounded by mentors, case managers, staff, family, and friends who encouraged her and helped make the difficult days feel a little less overwhelming.

“I didn't think I could do what I've done, and because you gave me a chance, I have excelled, and I'm so proud of myself. So, thank you for taking that chance.”

Today, Stephanie is celebrating a fresh start with her daughter and the opportunity to move forward as a stronger parent alongside her husband.

We’re honored to have walked with her as she did the hard work of building a new life for her family — and grateful to God for guiding her every step of the way.

Today, on World Homeless Day, we recognize the men, women, children, and families facing the uncertainty and hardship of homelessness.

Homelessness can happen to anyone. A lost job, unexpected crisis, health challenge, unsafe relationship, or series of difficult circumstances can change the course of a life more quickly than many of us realize.

That’s why ending homelessness also means working to end the stigma surrounding it. It means choosing compassion over judgment, treating every person with respect, and extending a helping hand to neighbors who need support finding their footing again.

Today and every day, may we see the person before the circumstance — and remember that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, and hope.
