In 2011, our founders set out on a mission to transform the world of orphan care through a grassroots approach by equipping communities to care for vulnerable children. Unveiled through years of service, they met people of all ages who struggled to know their purpose and lived only to survive. Through partnership with the voices of local Ugandan change makers, eager to see the end of the cycle of abuse, poverty and injustice — Project Orphans Uganda was birthed. Over a decade ago, Project Orphans waged a war against the villains that plague our community, suffocating lives from living free of injustice. Serving through innovative programs that tackle the systemic issues — we provide tools that allow people to get out of the trenches and pursue a quality and purposeful life. Our full-circle approach is an ongoing commitment to break the cycle of selfless survival and empower a world of compassion.

Some children walk miles just for the opportunity to go to school. And this year, our board member & child sponsor,Amber, is running the Marine Corps Marathon for THEM!

Every step she takes is a step toward brighter futures, bigger dreams, and opportunities every child deserves.

Pepe is leading the way, and it’s officially GUY TIME in Uganda! 💪🏾⚽️

Over the next several days, more men will be joining the team for a very intentional trip—serving alongside our Ugandan team, investing in relationships, and getting to work on our newest project: BUILD THE FIELD! ⚽️🌱

We’re looking for 10 YESes.

Sponsorship is so much more than meeting a need. It is a child knowing that someone, somewhere, has chosen to stand in their corner.

It means education. Nutritious meals. Medical care. Safety. Stability. And the opportunity to dream about a future beyond the circumstances they were born into.

At Project Orphans, we’ve had the privilege of watching children grow up before our eyes. Children who once needed someone to believe in their future are becoming young men and women with dreams, confidence, purpose, and hope!

That is what sponsorship can do.

It helps close the gap between where a child begins and where they have the potential to go.

Right now, 10 children are still waiting for sponsors.

Ten children. Ten people willing to say, “You matter. Your future matters. And we’re going to help you get there.”
