Our work is a work of compassion. We don't judge people for their past but try to help them to move on to a better future.

This man has an ankle bracelet monitor because of his criminal past, and he is still being monitored by authorities. Our team knocked at this couple's door. In the following conversation, he opened up about being desperate because he can't even afford food for his wife and baby. He said he couldn't find anyone to give him a job because he served time in jail. That desperation made him think about going back to crime.

We are able to provide food in this moment of need and are actively working on connecting him with his community and a church to help his restoration and recovery.

Danielle is so grateful for the food donations we brought! She is a single mom who has to stay home with her two sons, her 5-year-old son (not in the picture) has autism and needs her around all day long because there is no care for special needs kids like him in the city. We sign up new families almost every month to receive food donations in times of extreme need. Our network of local churches mentors each one of them and many find a job or new ways to complement their income through this training. Therefore, we aim for a duration of 6 months of support and evaluate if the family can then stand on their own feet.

The mom of seven precious kids passed away in a tragic accident two weeks ago. Two of the children have special needs. What a blessing that we found a sponsor to provide them with nutritional security for one whole year! We heard about this through social media and our team reached out, visited the widower and his kid and signed them up for "Feeding Families". Thank you, sponsors! 🤍

This is a kitchen typical for a family of the very low-income range which we bless with bi-monthly food donations through feedingfamilies.org. Lots of tools, pots, and containers, telling stories of better days, but no food! Often, parents don't know how they will feed their children that very day.

We visit every family in their home before we sign them up for the feeding program. A local church then "adopts" and connects to them on a bi-weekly basis or more often. Not only to distribute the food, but also to teach them about God's love, and to mentor and minister to their families. Thank you for making such a huge difference through your donations!
