After the 2025 Trout Fire tore through the Gila National Forest, the Wild Stew Field Crew got to work and the results speak for themselves.

From felling fire-weakened trees to rebuilding eroding slopes with log crib walls, this hitch was all about giving the Continental Divide Trail a fighting chance against the damage left behind.

Meet Eric 🌵
