Continuing a long standing tradition of excellence, the Douglas Freeman High School Band is a growing "Power House" of musical ability.

The overall program consists of several ensembles including the Rebel Brigade Marching Band, the Concert Band, the Wind Ensemble and the DSF Jazz Ensemble. The band performs throughout the local community and has also performed in various locations along the East Coast including, New York, Orlando, Boston, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, and Gatlinburg.

Come and find out what the Performing Arts at DSF is all about! On November 5th, 6pm, we will host our first ever Performing Arts Showcase with performances from the entire Performing Arts Department at DSF. The show will last about an hour and we will have student representatives on hand afterwards to meet with our future Mavericks!

From the Instrumental department there will be performances by the String Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band and the Marching Mavericks.

Admission is FREE! Come check us out!
