A little upgrade this weekend: we moved our service gate 12 feet to the right to accommodate trucks and trailers. Due to the arch in the main entrance, this allows high-tolerance vehicles to enter with ease. Donations to the tubachistoriccemetery.org aid us in improvements and maintenance that can be made through our website.

Good morning ! It has come to our attention that some flags have been torn due to the elements. As this observation is made, we are informing all families and friends that torn flags will be removed and disposed of properly. If any flags are in need of attention, please feel free to reach out to our Tubac Cemetery page or our website tubachistoriccemetery.org. Additionally, a reminder that the United States Flag Code (Title 4, Chapter 1 of the U.S. Code) provides guidelines for the proper display and respect of the American flag. Key rules include displaying the flag from sunrise to sunset (or illuminated at night). Thank you for your observation and consideration. Sincerely, Management.

Today was a good day to spray w**d killer. In Arizona, the common "goat w**d" is known as Puncturevine and is very painful if stepped on; it is also tricky to manage. We used a portion of the donations to help keep the vegetation down this spring. Thank you to all who donated to keep more maintenance-based projects rolling.

Good morning. We cut down a damaged pine tree, and we decided to leave the stump with the idea of getting a donation of a planter and a cactus to place on top. What do y'all think?

If you are interested in donating a planter, we would prefer something colorful that can be lightly secured to the stump, or if you're interested in donating a cactus to go into the planter, please feel free to leave a comment or share a picture of your idea. Thank you!

With the weather being so perfect, we took on a fun little project over the weekend. Nothing like a fresh coat of paint to make our entrance sign beautiful once again.

Fun fact: Did y’all notice that the word "cemetery" is misspelled? We decided to leave it like that, as it’s been for many years, and we think it’s just too cool to correct.

Good morning, community members. Thank you for using the trash cans, as it makes it easier for us and keeps trash off our fence line. Also, a friendly reminder that leaving candles on is not permitted due to the high risk of wildfire. Thank you sincerely, your management.

Good afternoon. As many people have seen, we have provided trash cans. We thank you for using them. There are a total of 5 one at each entrance and two next to the bathrooms. The only thing we ask is that you please do not throw food away, as we have hungry Javelinas in our neighborhood that love to knock cans down. Thank you. We are also accepting donations that can be made on our website to help with the expenses of trash disposal.
