In celebration of dude ranching’s 100th year (), Scott traveled over 20,000 miles across the American West to photograph the dude ranches that have been around since the beginning to create the companion book to this collection, “100 Years of Dude Ranching.” On June 4, you can plan to stop by Legends Bookstore for a meet and greet and book signing with Scott Baxter!

It's a huge year for dude ranching and we are honored to be a part of the celebration through "100 Years of Dude Ranching," the coffee table book produced in collaboration with The Dude Ranchers' Association and the Dude Ranch Foundation!

With incredible images from Scott T. Baxter, it's an incredible timepiece to commemorate a huge milestone.

Dude ranches have been delivering uniquely American vacations for 100 years. A new coffee table book and documentary celebrate a century of city slickers — and others yearning for unspoiled country and simple joys — getting horseback and happy out West.

This weekend is the grand opening of “The Wrangle,” a new photography exhibit by Scott T. Baxter (), at Tubac Golf Resort () on March 22 from 4-6 p.m. in Tubac, Arizona. We hope our Arizona locals have the chance to come out and see the exhibit!

Join us for the grand opening of “The Wrangle,” a new photography exhibit by Scott T. Baxter (), at Tubac Golf Resort () on March 22 from 4-6 p.m. in Tubac, Arizona.

On many dude ranches in the small hours of the morning, horses are gathered from their pastures and driven to ranch headquarters during a daily ritual often called “The Wrangle.” Ranch guests gather to listen to pounding hooves and watch their vacation companions arrive to the ranch for the day’s activities, repeating a tradition that has been in existence for decades.

We are at the 2026 Centennial Convention for the national Dude Ranchers’ Association with a preview of the upcoming exhibition THE WRANGLE, featuring photographs from Scott T. Baxter’s () newest centennial project, “100 Years of Dude Ranching.” These 23 photographs explore the landscapes dude ranches call home, and the people who continue to provide guests with a taste of the West.
