Tryon Concert Association Tryon Concert Association brings a series of world-class chamber music concerts to the WNC community.

Tryon Concert Association has focused on its mission of bringing world-class artists to Tryon for 71 years, typically presenting a series of four concerts from the fall through spring at the intimate 340-seat Tryon Fine Arts Center. The quality of the artists presented rivals that are found in major metropolitan markets. TCA is committed to nurturing an appreciation of and involvement in classical

music. Students from area schools are invited as guests of The Tryon Concert Association to each performance and are given recognition at the beginning of the concert: “The students of today are the audience of tomorrow.”

Tryon Concert Association is an all-volunteer organization of individuals who are committed to enriching the Tryon community by bringing world-class concerts to the area. The ensemble of committed board members provides the stability, talent, and enthusiasm that brings the ingredients for exhilarating and memorable concerts together at affordable prices.

Join us for a year of unforgettable performances by the Phaeton Piano Trio from Germany in October, followed by Apollo5, a vocal group from England, in November. February brings us faculty and students from the Curtis Institute of Music playing the great works for winds, strings, and piano. We finish in April with the 2025 Van Cliburn gold medal winner, Aristo Sham.

Also, notice our Casual Friday concerts, for which you can purchase individual tickets at any time. They are shorter and more informal, with an earlier starting time.

Our series is subscription-only, so please reserve your spot today at https://tryonconcerts.org/concert-series, and purchase your Casual Friday tickets early to avoid the Oct. 1 price increase.

It was such a pleasure to host internationally renowned pianist, Inon Barnatan, introduced by our Vice President, Brennan Szafron, on Monday night. Inon Barnatan gave a spectacular performance! He also joined our donors for our post-concert-meet-the-artist reception with hors d’oeuvres sponsored by Cheryl Goodwin and libations sponsored by Fran Creasy.
