Hope 7 Community Center Serving our community since 1968! The mission of Hope 7 is to provide life essential services to our community members.

Currently we have after school care and summer camp programs for children, both educational and recreational in nature, a food pantry, and community outreach services. Our goal is to continue to grow and add programming the community deems necessary to meet their needs not provided through other sources accessible to them.

📚 2026–27 Hope 7 After-School Registration is NOW OPEN!

Hope 7 has over 50 years of experience providing safe, nurturing after-school care for children in Troy’s East Side neighborhood.

Our NYS-licensed program is open to children in the Troy City School District and participating charter schools, with transportation provided by the school or family.

2026-27 Hope 7 After-School Registration is NOW OPEN! 2026-27 Hope 7 After-School Care will be filled with fun, friends and room to grow! Hope 7 has over 50 years of experience providing enrichment and supervision for youth in Troy’s East Side Neighborhood. Our program is open to families with children enrolled in the Troy City School District and charter schools that provide transportation to our location at 596 Pawling Avenue or whose parents provide their own transportation to and from the program. A NYS-licensed program, we operate in compliance with all NYS Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) regulations, background checks and training. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for all children.

As the cost of everyday essentials continues to rise, more of our neighbors are turning to the Hope 7 Food Pantry for help. The need in our community is growing, and keeping our shelves stocked with basic pantry staples is more important than ever.

We’re especially in need of:
🥫 Canned fruits and vegetables
🐟 Canned tuna and chicken
🍲 Soups
🫘 Pork and beans

Donations can be dropped off at the Hope 7 Food Pantry, 520 Pawling Ave. (basement of the Methodist Church), weekdays from 9:30–11:45 a.m., Thursday evenings from 5–7 p.m., or the last Saturday of each month from 9:30–11:45 a.m.

Thank you for helping us ensure our neighbors have access to healthy, nutritious food. 💙💚

Throughout the month of August, every time you purchase a Hannaford Fight Hunger Bag, Hope 7 Food Pantry will receive $1 to help provide food for local families in need.
