🍕🏆 AND THE WINNERS ARE… 🏆🍕
What a night! Hope 7’s Third Annual Pizza Wars was a resounding success, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who came together to make it happen.

First, congratulations to our 2026 Pizza Wars winners!

🍅 BEST SAUCE — Red Front | Troy
🍕 BEST CRUST — LaBella’s | Wynantskill
🔥 MOST CREATIVE — Giuliano’s | Wynantskill
🏆 JUDGES’ CHOICE — Deli & Brew | Troy
❤️ PEOPLE’S CHOICE — LaBella’s | Wynantskill

Of course, Pizza Wars wouldn’t be Pizza Wars without the incredible local pizzerias who stepped up to compete, Carol's Place, Jimmy's Pizza, Arsenal Reserve, DeFazios Pizzeria. Thank you to every restaurant that participated, donated their time and food, and helped us turn a fun night of friendly competition into meaningful support for our community.

A very special thank-you goes to our Pizza Wars Event Co-Chairs, Dawn Bulmer and Carole Claren-Weaver, who shared the enormous responsibility of bringing this event together. Dawn, who also serves as Chairwoman of our Fundraising Committee, and Carole, our Chairwoman of Board Development, put countless hours, energy and care into making last night the success that it was. We are incredibly fortunate to have you both.
And a huge shoutout to our Executive Director, Holly Cargill-Cramer, whose dedication to Hope 7 and the people we serve is at the heart of everything we do. Events like Pizza Wars are a reminder of just how much can happen when an incredible staff, board and community all rally around the same mission. ❤️

We also want to recognize the board members who gave so generously of their time — not only lending their names to the cause, but rolling up their sleeves, setting up, working throughout the evening and doing whatever was needed to make the event successful. That kind of hands-on commitment is what makes events like Pizza Wars possible, and we are incredibly grateful. A heartfelt "Thank you" to every individual and local business who generously donated a raffle basket to our Big Basket Bonanza. Your generosity helped make the evening that much more successful.

And finally, thank YOU to everyone who came through the doors. Whether you bought a ticket, brought your family and friends, voted for your favorite pizza, bought raffle tickets or simply showed up because you believe in what Hope 7 does — you were part of the reason last night was such a success.

The causes and programs supported by Hope 7 are ones we all hold very dear to our hearts. Seeing so many people come together to support them — while eating a whole lot of really great pizza — is what community is all about.

Good pizza. Great people. An even greater purpose. ❤️
From all of us at Hope 7 Community Center, thank you for making Pizza Wars III a night to remember. 🍕🏆
