Stop by our Uptown Shop any Sunday to adopt a bike! These bikes are ready to ride as is, and have been tuned up by our Collective of knowledgeable volunteers & staff.

Bikes are available on a sliding scale donation basis. We make repairs with recycled parts as much as possible to A) keep good stuff out of the landfill and B) keep the suggested donation range low, in order to make cycling more accessible to everyone, regardless of income. Motobecane Nomade, made in France. We love this early example of a steel frame with internally routed cables (rear brake cable, under top tube).

We swapped out the drop bars and "safety" brake levers in favor of a flat bar and flat bar levers. Friction shifting makes this a pretty bombproof unit, ready to roll over the boredom between here and there!
