Earlier this week, we celebrated Matt as he moved into his own home.

Stories like Matt's don't happen alone. They happen because a community chooses to invest in people, offer second chances, and provide the support needed to rebuild a life.

Next Thursday, June 18, you have an easy opportunity to be part of that story.

Join us at Troy H***yTonk for our Dine to Donate event. A portion of sales will benefit Bridge of Hope and help provide shelter, resources, transportation, case management, and hope to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Lincoln County.

The meal you purchase helps provide the shelter, support, and resources that make stories like Matt's possible.

On Monday we celebrated Matt's new beginning as he moved into his own home.

Today we celebrate Matt as he begins his next adventure and moves into his new home. 🏠❤️

If you’ve met Matt, you know what a special person he is. From the day he arrived, he was always willing to help others, take accountability, and make everyone around him feel seen and valued.

As staff gathered to say goodbye, they gave Matt an “It Is Good to Be Home” sign filled with encouraging messages and signatures. When we told him to hang it in his new home, he said he wanted to display it so he could read those words every day. He told us that was the best part.

Matt reminds us that life is made of choices and that everyone deserves a chance to write a new chapter.

We are so proud of you, Matt. Congratulations on your new home and all you’ve accomplished. Your Bridge of Hope family will be cheering you on every step of the way.

In July 2024, Janell and her son JT entered Bridge of Hope looking for a fresh start.Janell went to work. JT went to Preschool. By October, they had moved into a home of their own.

Last month, Catholic Charities St. Louis invited them to throw out the first pitch at a St. Louis Cardinals game. It was a moment that celebrated just how far they have come.

Today, they have spent more time building a life in their own home than they spent in our program.

Their story reminds us that homelessness is not the end of someone’s story. When people are met with connection, support, and hope, incredible things can happen.

We are so proud of you, Janell and JT. ❤️

🌮❤️ We’re having a great time at Don Julio's Mexican Restaurant Troy with staff, supporters, and friends of Bridge of Hope!

There’s still time to join us! Don Julio’s is generously donating 15% of today’s dine-in sales back to Bridge of Hope to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community.
