This is Olive.

The morning she was scheduled to be euthanized at ACCT Philadelphia, thousands of people shared her plea. People rooted for her. People wanted her to live.

And thanks to an incredible foster who stepped up with almost no time to spare, Olive is alive today.

What happened next matters just as much.

Because saving a dog is not the end of the story.

It is the beginning.

Over the past months, Olive has made beautiful progress. She is sensitive, intelligent, deeply connected to her people, and eager to learn. Her foster has poured time, patience, and love into helping her grow, and we are so grateful for everything she has done for this girl.

Right now, Olive needs a foster or adopter.

At this stage, she needs to be the only pet or kept separate from other animals while she continues building confidence and skills.

And yes, we know that makes finding the right home harder.

But not for one second do we regret stepping up for her that day.

Not for one second.

Because Olive’s life matters.

Now we need someone willing to help carry her story forward.

Everybody wanted Olive saved.

Rescue Placement Needed for Teddy!

Our volunteer was contacted to help with finding him rescue placement as his owner is unable to keep him. He is currently located in Trenton, Nj

Meet Teddy, a beautiful 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel in need of a rescue placement.

Teddy is a sweet, loving boy who is looking for a safe place to land. He is neutered, healthy, and house-trained. Teddy gets along well with cats and does best with children ages 10 and older. He has an active, playful personality and loves to run, play, and spend time with his people.

URGENT: States Needs a Foster Home to Live

States — an 8+ year old, gentle, food motivated sweetheart — has landed on the shelter’s euthanasia list this week due to overcrowding and length of stay. He has very little time left to find a safe place to go.

This senior boy doesn’t need perfection. He needs someone. A couch. A quiet corner. A soft voice telling him he’s finally safe.

❤️ Can you foster States and turn “no options left” into a brand new beginning? He is trying so hard to be seen. We just need to get him out.

We would love to help keep Midnight where he belongs, in the loving home of his dad.

His owner recently posted on Nextdoor seeking to rehome him, but after speaking with him, it became clear that this is not a case of someone wanting to give up their dog. He truly loves Midnight and is facing a difficult period in his life. He has fallen on hard times and is struggling to make ends meet, but his goal is to get back on his feet and continue providing the loving home Midnight has always known.

Sometimes, families just need a helping hand rather than having to say goodbye to a beloved pet. We are hoping to rally support to help keep Midnight with the person who loves him most while his dad works through these challenges. Keeping pets with their families whenever possible is one of the best outcomes we can hope for, and we would love to make that happen for Midnight!
