🎶 Did You Know? 🎶

Our music program provides children of all ages with opportunities to learn new skills, develop their musical talents, and build confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Through music, kids gain more than technical abilities. They learn discipline, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance while forming meaningful friendships and lasting memories.

We are grateful for the dedicated supporters, volunteers, and instructors like Adonis Valdez Melendez whose passion and commitment help make these opportunities possible. Their encouragement and guidance inspire participants to grow, serve others, and share their gifts with the community.

Experiences like these inspire growth, encourage self-expression, and bring people together. We are grateful to support a program that continues to make a meaningful difference through the power of music 🎹🎸🥁

This past Saturday, our Trenton Citadel Teen Worship Group proudly represented both Trenton and the State of New Jersey at Territorial Star Search, The Salvation Army Eastern Territory’s version of America’s Got Talent.

After months of dedicated practice, discipline, and preparation, our teens traveled to Hershey, Pennsylvania, where they joined hundreds of young people from across the Northeastern United States to compete in music and arts categories. While there was plenty of excitement and nervous anticipation, they stepped onto the stage with confidence and gave their very best.

We are thrilled to share that they brought home 3rd Place in the Worship Group Level B Category!

What makes this accomplishment even more meaningful is their journey. Several of these young people began with little or no experience playing an instrument. Through years of hard work, faithful commitment, and continuous learning, they have grown into a worship team that uses their talents to glorify God and lead others in worship.

Beyond the competition, this experience was filled with new friendships, shared laughter, unforgettable memories, and opportunities to grow in faith. We are incredibly proud of each one of them for their dedication, teamwork, and willingness to step out in faith.

A heartfelt thank you to the parents, leaders, mentors, and supporters who have invested in these young people along the way. Your encouragement and guidance continue to shape the next generation of disciples and servant leaders.

Please join us in congratulating our Teen Worship Group on this outstanding achievement. We thank God for how far they have come and look forward to seeing where He leads them next!

Partnerships like these make a real difference by helping connect people to important services such as SNAP assistance, medical assistance, housing support, utility assistance, and more. We are grateful for organizations that are committed to meeting people where they are and caring for the needs of our community with compassion and dignity.

Over the past two days, we were grateful to partner with Care Access to provide free health screenings to members of our community.

Access to healthcare is not always easy for many individuals and families, which makes opportunities like this so important. We deeply appreciate Care Access and their commitment to serving those who need these services the most, including individuals who may not otherwise have access to healthcare resources.

Thank you to everyone who came out and took an important step toward caring for their health and well-being. Together, we can continue building a healthier and stronger community. ❤️

WOW — because of the incredible generosity of our community, we are excited to share that together we raised $8,515 through our Run for Good Virtual 5K Fundraiser! ❤️

Thank you to every person who registered, donated, shared our posts, encouraged others, and supported this effort. Your kindness and partnership will make a real impact on local families and children throughout the summer.
