Well, that’s a wrap for the 2026 school year at The Foundry! What a wonderful year we had with our students. It’s hard to believe how quickly the time flew by!

We are so thankful for all the memories made, lessons learned, friendships built, and growth we witnessed throughout the year.

While our regular schedule will pause for the summer, we will still be offering a few special programs and activities during the break. We look forward to resuming our regular schedule at the end of the summer as students head back for a new school year.

Thank you to all of our students, families, volunteers, and supporters for being part of The Foundry family. We pray everyone has a safe, fun, and blessed summer!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11

We are truly enjoying this beautiful spring weather at The Foundry! Fresh air, sunshine, outdoor play, and healthy socializing are exactly what our kids love most. It’s been a wonderful time of fun, laughter, and making great memories together!

Today we included two old-fashioned fun activities—a game of tug-of-war and even some tree climbing! 🌳💪😄 We’re getting back to the basics at The Foundry, and the kids are loving every minute of it.

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24

🇺🇸🎬 Foundry Middlesex Field Trip Day!

This afternoon, our Foundry kids took a special trip to Compass Cinema in Irvington to see “The Awakening” — and we were blessed to have our very own private theater! 🙌🍿
This movie gave our students an incredible opportunity to learn more about the history of our country, reflect on where we’ve come from, and talk about the importance of freedom, courage, and standing for what is right.
We love creating experiences that inspire our teens to grow in knowledge, character, and purpose.
📖 Scripture Reminder:
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”
— Psalm 33:12

Thank you to our volunteers and supporters who help make moments like this possible!

🪁 Kites in the Sky at The Foundry!
Today our teens enjoyed a beautiful day outside flying kites and making memories together! 🌤️ There’s something powerful about stepping outside, feeling the wind, laughing with friends, and remembering that God’s presence is always moving, even when we can’t see it.

📖 “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes.”
— John 3:8

Just like the wind lifts a kite, God can lift us when we trust Him and hold on. ❤️

Today, we honor and remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — a leader who showed the world the power of faith, courage, and love in action.

Dr. King reminded us that “Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” His legacy challenges us to stand for justice, love our neighbors, and work toward unity — not just in words, but through action.

At The Foundry Middlesex, we continue his vision by serving our community, lifting up others, and helping young people grow into leaders who choose compassion, respect, and courage.

Let today be more than a day off — let it be a day on for service, kindness, and purpose.

Today at The Foundry, we held our very first band practice for our brand-new student band, 🎸 The Forge 🎸 — and what an exciting start it was!

We’re starting small, but we already have more students expressing interest in live music, performance, and production. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to add more students and watch these young talents grow, collaborate, and find their voices.

🎤 Stay tuned for upcoming performances!
Because music performance truly feeds the soul and builds confidence, discipline, and community.

🙏 Special thanks to Lee Goldstar and Rod McMordie from the band Sweet Justice for their instruction, mentorship, and guidance.
🎚️ Thank you to Grady Brown at Living Waters Church for the generous equipment donation and instruction that helped make this possible.

🎸 Musical instrument donations are greatly appreciated as we continue to grow this program and welcome more students!

📖 “Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.”
— Psalm 33:3

At The Foundry Middlesex, we’re melting barriers and forging futures — one note at a time. ❤️🎶
