Hello Everyone! Great news! It's that time of the year again for the Middlesex Lions Club to start taking applications for our annual scholarships!

To apply for one of the 4 Middlesex Lions Club Scholarships of $1200 each, must be Middlesex resident, may currently be enrolled in high school, a GED program, a community college, a four-year college or a technical/trade school. (Prior recipients can reapply)

To apply for the $2,500 Page N. Melton Scholarship, must be Middlesex resident, and may currently be home schooled, enrolled in high school (public or private), a GED program, a community college, a four-year college, or a technical/trade school.

Application deadline is March 23rd, 2026.

Wow! Way to go Tewksbury Lions Club!

Thanks to our community we were able to donate 980 pairs of used eyeglasses and 200 pairs of sunglasses.

The Middlesex Lions Club will be offering four $1,200 scholarships and a $2,000 Page Melton Scholarship given in memory of him by his wife; Rebekah Melton. All High School, College, and Trade School Students who will be applying must be a resident in Middlesex County. Applications can be picked up from the Guidance Office or go on line to the Website of the High School. All applications can be turned in to the Guidance Office or emailed to [email protected] no later than May 5th. For any questions, please call Janan Major at 703-447-5441.

The Middlesex Lions Club would like to thank the entire community, including our many volunteers that helped us throughout the year, for your continued support! We could not make the impact that we do without you all! With that being said, we would like to welcome our five new members that were inducted at our annual club Christmas gala on December 13th, 2024. Many of these new members started out as volunteers, and we are very fortunate to now have them as official members. During our joyous Christmas celebration, we were honored to have Past District Governor Debbie Ivy perform the induction ceremony.

The Middlesex Lions Club would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in learning more about our many local and global causes, volunteering or even becoming a member. The Middlesex Lions Club is excited to see everyone at the Wings, Wheels & Keels on Saturday, September 28th from 8AM to 4PM.

Come by with the family and while you are there, come find us for some delicious crabcakes, hush puppies, cotton candy or popcorn!

With our monthly meeting coming up this Tuesday, we are excited to have some very special guests. Our club will be honored to spend time with a few of our scholarship winners and their parents. We will also have the opportunity to listen to a guest speaker tell us about her project for creating a non-profit so we can contribute to her cause.

If anyone would like to visit one of our meetings and learn more about the many wonderful things that the Lions Club does, feel free to send us a message. We'd love to have you join us for an evening. We meet every second Tuesday of the month at 6 PM.

Middlesex County Lions Club are doing our white cane event today. We are going to be at M&M Building supply in Hartfield, Ace Hardware in Cooks Corner, Hometown Market and Deltaville Virginia. Please come out and show your support. 9-12
