DeeplyRooted WNY is all about
bringing community back to nature, and nature back into our community.

We strive to connect with friends and neighbors while we mend the earth with regenerative practices in growing foods, gathering spaces and friendships.

Come and harvest! All are welcome to stop by DeeplyRooted (98 Luksin drive) and harvest from the gardens.

This week, we have roses for cut bouquets, handfuls of blackberries, and false blue indigo seed pods ready to be collected as you plan out next year's garden!

Huge thanks to the many people who visited DeeplyRooted Community Garden last weekend for Urban Farm Day! We loved talking with you about food forests, native plants, and urban gardening. And thanks to for sharing your impressions and weaving among the plants.

Special thanks to the group who joined for the afternoon talk, including friends made at last year's gathering. We imagined better futures together and then got into the details of what and how to grow perennial crops together with our neighbors. Following the conversation, lots of pawpaw seedlings headed to new homes 🌱

Thanks to for all the support, we look forward to coming together again for Urban Farm Day next year!

Our AMAZING volunteers have been working hard to recover some grassy areas. We were surrounded by butterflies as we recovered the Tea Garden! 🦋🦋🦋

We'll gather at the DeeplyRooted Community Garden at 1:30pm to discuss which native trees and shrubs produce ample food, how we can propagate more than enough plants to share, and what we all gain by growing in community.

Participants will be gifted pawpaw saplings donated by Firouzan Food Forest + Nursery. See you there!
