🏕️ Calling all Cub Scout leaders, parents, and Scouters! 🐻

Orion District BALOO Training is coming up September 26–27, and we need YOU!

🌲 Need BALOO training? Sign up and join us for a fun weekend of hands-on outdoor skills, camping know-how, safety, program planning, and ideas you can take back to your Pack.

⚜️ Already BALOO trained or have outdoor skills to share? We’re also looking for experienced Scouters who would be willing to help teach or assist with the training. This is a great opportunity to help prepare the next group of Cub Scout leaders to give their Scouts an awesome outdoor program.

Happy Father's Day from Orion District-SHAC

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who make Scouting stronger through their leadership, service, and example.

Whether you're teaching a Scout how to tie a knot, leading a campfire program, helping with a Pinewood Derby car, or simply being there to encourage a young person, your impact reaches far beyond the moment. The values you model—trustworthiness, kindness, courage, and service—help shape the next generation of leaders.

Thank you for the countless hours spent camping, mentoring, volunteering, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Your dedication helps Scouts grow into confident, capable, and caring citizens.
