Today marks four years since we lost Mark “Pop” Collins, Waylon, Carson, Hudson, and Bryson.

Four years later, their absence is still felt. There are moments when the grief feels fresh, memories that bring both smiles and tears, and reminders that love does not end when someone is gone.

The hurt is still there, because the love is still there.

Over the past four years, we have watched their legacy live on through acts of kindness, service, scholarships, friendships, and a community that continues to remember. While we would trade every accomplishment, every scholarship, and every tribute for one more day with them, we are grateful that their lives continue to inspire others to love deeply, serve generously, and cherish the people around them.

Today, we remember five lives that left an imprint on countless hearts. We remember their laughter, their unique personalities, the joy they brought to those around them, and the love they shared so freely. Their stories did not end on June 2, 2022. They continue to live on in the people they touched and the lives that continue to be changed in their honor.

As we reflect on this day, we pray for peace that only Heaven knows, for comfort for those who miss them most, and for the strength to continue carrying their legacy forward.

Forever loved.
Forever missed.
Forever remembered.
Forever Collins Strong.

Yesterday would have been our parents’, Mark and Lisa Collins’, 51st wedding anniversary.

As their children, we have been blessed by the example they set through their love, faith, commitment, and service to others. Our dad, Mark, left a tremendous impact on our lives and on so many people in our community. His heart for serving others and helping those in need continues to inspire us every day.

Much of what we do through Collins Strong Foundation is rooted in the values our parents instilled in us: to love others well, to serve with compassion, and to make a difference wherever we can.

Today, we remember our dad, celebrate our mom, and honor the beautiful legacy they built together.

❤️ Happy 51st Anniversary, Mom and Dad.

💙 Did You Know?

Scholarships do more than help pay for school.

They help reduce student debt, ease financial burdens, and give students the opportunity to focus on their education and future goals.

At Collins Strong Foundation, we believe every student deserves the chance to pursue their dreams, regardless of the obstacles they may face.

By investing in students today, we are helping create opportunities, strengthen our communities, and continue a legacy of hope, resilience, and impact.

One opportunity can change a life. 💙

Anchored in Prayer Wednesday ⚓️

As the school year comes to an end, life gets loud.
Awards ceremonies. Last minute projects. Field days. Summer plans. Busy schedules.

And somewhere in the middle of all the rushing, God gently reminds us:

Slow down.
These moments matter.

I sometimes reflect on the incredible things that came from COVID. Even though it was such a strange and difficult season, in many ways it became a blessing in disguise for our family. It taught me so much about slowing down, being present, and truly valuing time together.

Summer can give us that same opportunity again.

A chance to reconnect.
To laugh more.
To sit a little longer at the dinner table.
To hear the stories from the backseat.
To enjoy slow mornings, movie nights, pool days, and the ordinary moments that someday won’t feel ordinary at all.

And while not every family gets endless summer days because of work, responsibilities, or busy schedules, presence is not measured by quantity alone. Sometimes the most meaningful memories are made in the little moments:
a quick ice cream run, bedtime conversations, evening walks, movie nights on the couch, or simply putting the phones away and being fully present for an hour.

One day, these little moments will be the memories we miss the most.

💙 Our Prayer ❤️

This summer, may we be anchored not in busyness, but in presence.
May we pause long enough to truly see our children, hear their hearts, and enjoy the season we are in.

Lord, help us trade pressure for peace and schedules for connection. Remind us that some of life’s holiest moments happen in the simplest places.

As another school year comes to a close, we also lift up our kiddos in prayer. We pray for protection over them this summer, for growing hearts and minds, for confidence, kindness, joy, and rest. May they always know how deeply loved they are by both their families and by You. 💙

🙏🙏🙏

If you have any prayer requests for your family, children, or loved ones, please feel free to share them in the comments or message us privately. We would be honored to pray with you. ⚓️

As Memorial Day approaches, we encourage our community to do more than simply say “thank you.” ❤️🤍💙

Take a moment this week to intentionally pray for those who have served, those currently serving, and the families who quietly carry so much behind the scenes.

Pray for protection.
Pray for peace.
Pray for healing.
Pray for veterans struggling with PTSD, grief, anxiety, or painful memories.
Pray for military spouses, children, and loved ones navigating sacrifice and time apart.

We also pray for the parents, spouses, children, family members, and friends who have lost someone who fought bravely for our country and our freedom. Memorial Day can bring grief, memories, and difficult emotions for many families, and we pray they feel comfort, strength, love, and support during this season.

Sometimes, if military service has not personally touched our own family, it can be easy to overlook just how much is given for our freedom every single day.

This week, let us choose to slow down, reflect, and lift these heroes and their families up in prayer. 🇺🇸

If you know someone who has served or is currently serving, feel free to share their first name below so our community can pray for them this week.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

One of Bryson’s substitute teachers from 4th grade shared a memory that perfectly captured who Bryson was. ❤️

She shared how excited he was about getting baptized and how boldly he talked about Jesus with his classmates. Other students gathered around asking questions, wanting to know more, and Bryson happily shared his faith with them.

Bryson had a strong love for Jesus that shined through in the way he treated others every single day. He encouraged people, cared deeply, and pointed others toward faith without even realizing the impact he was making.

Stories like these remind us that his light is still shining through the lives he touched. And while we miss him deeply here on earth, we can find peace knowing Bryson is now with Jesus, fully joyful, fully healthy, and probably having the absolute of his life. ⚾️✝️❤️

One thing we love about Tomball is seeing our community come together to support and care for families. 💙

Thank you to the City of Tomball for offering this free swim program to help children learn important water safety and swimming skills this summer! ☀️💦

It's almost time to welcome our community back to Jerry Matheson Public Pool and Splash Pad for the season, which also means registration for the 2026 Tomball Kids Swim program will be opening soon.

Tomball Kids Swim is a free program designed to teach children ages 4 to 7 essential, life-saving swim skills. Two sessions are held each summer with limited class sizes. Classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout June and July.

Registration for Session 1 of Tomball Kids Swim will take place on Tuesday, May 26, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in person at Jerry Matheson Public Pool (1240 Ulrich Rd.).

This week, as we recognize National Police Week and recently celebrated both Nurses Week and Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to take a moment to pray for those who serve others every single day. 💙

For the teachers shaping young minds, the medical professionals caring for others through long and exhausting days, and the first responders who step in during emergencies and difficult moments.

Many of these everyday heroes carry so much behind the scenes. The long hours, emotional exhaustion, stress, sacrifice, and countless acts of kindness often go unseen.

If you are in one of these fields, please know that we see you, we appreciate you, and prayers are being sent your way. Thank you for continuing to educate, care for, protect, and serve our communities with compassion and courage.

We pray for strength when you feel worn down, peace during difficult seasons, encouragement when you feel defeated, and protection over you and your families.

As part of our Wednesday Anchored in Faith prayer series, we would also love to pray for you. If you have a prayer request, please feel free to comment below or send us a private message.

And thank you to everyone who responded last week, interacted with our post, or sent us messages. Much love and prayers have been sent your way. 🙏💙
