Toledos PET Bull Project Prevent, Educate & Train Pit Bulls and all dogs whatever their breed.

We are a group of pit bull owners, dog lovers, and trainers who have gotten together to help Prevent animal cruelty including dog fighting in the Toledo and surrounding areas, to Educate the importance of spay & neuter and offer free Training to help dogs and their owners become good citizens and advocates.

Tick season is here in Northwest Ohio! 🕷️🐾

Did you know ticks love to hide in warm, dark areas on your dog’s body — and some are as tiny as a grain of sand? Even pets on preventatives should still be checked regularly after walks, hikes, yard time, and outdoor play.

Be sure to check:
✔️ Under collars
✔️ Between toes
✔️ Under legs
✔️ Groin area
✔️ Under the tail
✔️ Around the face and eyelids

Early removal is important and can help reduce the risk of tick-borne illnesses for both pets and people.

Hero is a 2.5‑year‑old Rottweiler with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people. He’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s right by your side with a toy in his mouth. Hero adores other dogs — sometimes a little too much — and his excitement can come out as big, bouncy energy. With some guidance and continued positive experiences, he’s learning how to channel that big love in calmer ways. Hero would do best with older kids simply because he sometimes forgets just how big and enthusiastic he is when he’s happy — which is pretty much all the time. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who just wants to be part of whatever you’re doing, Hero is your guy! Hero is crate trained, housebroken, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. His forever family must have a fenced yard and live within 45 miles of Toledo, Ohio

Don’t let the tiny size fool you, Punkin has a big personality packed into her little 2-year-old Chihuahua body. This sweet girl loves being close to her people and will happily claim the coziest spot on the couch (or your lap!) as her throne. Her expressive little face and adorable ears make it impossible not to smile when she’s around. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend with a big heart, Punkin might just be your girl. Punkin lives with another dog and cat in her foster home. We are unsure how she will do around kids because she has not been exposed to them yet. Punkin will require a family with a fenced in yard within 45 miles of Toledo, Ohio.

Current hobbies include:
• chewing things he absolutely shouldn’t
• dramatic sighing
• pretending he’s never been fed
• emotional support cuddling

Adoption requirements:
*Must provide snacks
*Couch privileges are non-negotiable
*Must agree he is the baby at all times

Warning: Timber may cause excessive smiling, loss of personal space, and sudden puppy voice syndrome.
