Toledos PET Bull Project Prevent, Educate & Train Pit Bulls and all dogs whatever their breed.

We are a group of pit bull owners, dog lovers, and trainers who have gotten together to help Prevent animal cruelty including dog fighting in the Toledo and surrounding areas, to Educate the importance of spay & neuter and offer free Training to help dogs and their owners become good citizens and advocates.

🦟Mosquito season is upon us in northwest Ohio!

💔Just a single bite from an infected mosquito is enough to infect your pet with heartworms. If left untreated, heartworms can cause significant damage to your pet's heart, lungs, and other organs, leading to heart failure, severe lung disease, and death.

📅While the risk is higher in warmer months when mosquitoes are more prevalent, pets can become infected with heartworm in all 4 seasons and in all 50 states. Make sure your pet is protected- the cost of heartworm preventative is far lower than the cost of heartworm treatment!

In this fun class students get paired up with dogs currently in our foster program. Teens get to train the dogs, participate in fun training games/challenges, and learn about different dog related topics. Spots are limited so don’t miss your chance to enroll.

Tootsie is a total sweetheart, bright-eyed young girl with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and a way of melting into you like she’s always belonged. Her estimated birthday is September 2025 and she weighs about 40lbs. She loves to snuggle and keep track of what you’re doing. She gets along with other dogs and kids. She walks well on a leash and is crate trained. Tootsie’s family should be within 45miles of Toledo, Oh and have a fenced in yard.

This past Saturday was our 2nd free dog training and vaccine clinic at Jamie afarr park. The first clinic in May we vaccinated 51 dogs and this week 40 dogs received vaccines. Our next event is scheduled at Walbridge park on July 11th from 2-4 pm.
